JACKSONVILLE, FL. - March 26, 2003 - For Immediate Release
Today Capernaum announced the release of FocalPoint, a desktop
wallboard application for call center agents. As an alternative
to physical wallboard solutions that are mounted
around the call center, FocalPoint runs on each agent and supervisor’s
screen for a fraction of the cost.
Features include the ability to broadcast ACD queue statistics
for multiple workgroups on the application which is dockable at
the top or bottom of the screen. FocalPoint gives call center agents
a constant and convenient view of those real-time statistics without
taking up a lot of screen space. Call center supervisors can set
threshold alerts for all of the statistics. When directed communication
is required, supervisors can post messages to agents using FocalPoint’s
scrolling window for call center management. Supervisors can access
and modify all of the alerts, messages, and workgroup details through
any standard web browser.
Capernaum created FocalPoint, “in large part because of
the feedback we received from our clients”, said Jonathan
White, an account manager at Capernaum. “Physical wallboards
were hard to see, and other solutions were too expensive, they
took up a lot of desktop space, and they looked horrible. Our web
programmers and designers were able to translate that feedback
in to the development of FocalPoint.”
