JACKSONVILLE, FL. - April 13, 2001 (BUSINESS JOURNAL) -
Jacksonville-based technology firm Capernaum was named a Reseller
Partner for Vancouver, British Columbia-based NCompass Labs, which
develops Web content management software.
Terms of the partnership were not disclosed, but it places Capernaum
in the same ranks with other NCompass partners Verizon and Ericsson
Canada.
The partnership allows Capernaum to market NCompass' web content
management software NCompass Resolution to its future and existing
Web clients.
"Content management is an issue that more and more companies
continue to face on their corporate Web sites and Intranets,"
said Capernaum President Tom Rossi.
The NCompass software helps lure traffic back to Web sites that
aim to keep a fresh, new look daily.
"Many of our clients have content that changes daily, but
they face the issues of having their technical resources tied up
with updating, editing, approving and deleting information,"
said Jon Livingston, Capernaum project manager. "And technical
resources are better utilized developing and implementing technology
for their organization, not being content editors."
The NCompass software can be used by non-techies to update Web
text content from virtually any Internet connection.
